Paul started his career in Glasgow as a broadcast journalist and news reader for STV where he went on to present his first chat show “Meet Paul Coia”. He then headed south to host BBC1’s iconic Pebble Mill at One for 2 years, as well as quiz show Catchword and chat show The Garden Party. More recently he has presented long running quiz show Spellbound for Sky 1.

Paul's a weekly columnist for the Sunday Post and interviews a different celebrity every issue.

Paul presents radio for BBC London 94.9 regularly deputising on the breakfast and evening shows and for BBC Berkshire every Sunday morning, a show that won Paul this year a Bronze Gillard. "A fascinating compilation of a range of stories which highlighted the trust and empathy of the presenter."

Prior to this Paul presented Smooth’s drive time show for 2 years after stints at Radio 2.

Paul has successfully entered the corporate field, hosting business conferences across the world before setting up his own presentation and media training company, Pow’r Communication. Current clients (2014) include Rolex, The Dubai Mercantile Exchange, Fly Dubai, Barry Callebaut (the world’s largest chocolate supplier), English Mutual, Sanlam and Creditsafe.

He has coached peers for their maiden speech in the House Of Lords, and also trained the former chief executive of Liverpool Football Club for media appearances!
